Till ledning vid bedömning av ventilationsbehovet
kan följande formel användas:

z=gasavgivningsfaktor,
1,0 för ventilerade batterier
0,5 för ventilerade batterier med (flamspärrade) katalysatorventiler
0,2 för ventilreglerade batterier
Faktorn 0,017 är framräknad ur maximalt producerad
vätgas (0,46 l/cell och
tillförd amperetimme), utspädningsfaktorn 26 och säkerhetsfaktor
5.
Laddningsströmmen l sätts till 0,5 gånger laddarens
märkström.
Omedelbart ovanför ett batteri (inom 1 dm) får man
räkna med att explosiv
blandning av vätgas och luft kan förekomma trots att
kraven på ventilation
är uppfyllda. |
